1. How do I install PTHPasteboard 4?

To install PTHPasteboard 4 please follow the following steps.
  • Double click on the PTHPasteboard.prefPane.dmg disk image.
  • Double click on the PTHPasteboard.prefPane icon once the image has launched. This will cause System Preferences app to launch.
  • System Preferences will ask if you want where you want to install PTHPasteboard. Choose "Install for this user only" unless you have multiple users using the machine and want them to all have access to PTHPasteboard.
  • Select the PTHPasteboard icon if needed.
  • Click the "Start PTHPasteboard" button.
  • If you want to have PTHPasteboard launch every time you login make sure that the "Start at Login" checkbox is checked.

2. How do I uninstall PTHPasteboard 4?

To uninstall PTHPasteboard 4 please follow the following steps.
  • Launch System Preferences.app and select the PTHPasteboard icon.
  • Click the "Stop PTHPasteboard" button and make sure that the "Start at Login" checkbox is unchecked.
  • Hit the "Show All" button at the top of the System Preferences window.
  • Right/Control click on the PTHPasteboard icon and select "Remove PTHPasteboard Preference Pane".

3. Why is nothing showing up on the Main Pasteboard window?

Make sure that there is nothing typed into the Search Pasteboard search field on the window. See below.

4. Why does PTHPasteboard 4 attempt to connect to secure.pth.com on launch?

PTHPasteboard 4 will check for updates a few seconds after launched. You can disable this by making sure that the "Automatically check for updates" checkbox is unchecked. Please note no personal information is collected during the update check process.

5. Is PTHPasteboard 4 free?

Yes. You may use PTHPasteboard 4 for as long as you like with no restrictions.

6. Is PTHPasteboard 4 PRO free?

No, PTHPasteboard 4 PRO adds some features to PTHPasteboard (pasteboard buffer Syncing and Filters). You may request a 30 day demo license for these features from within the "Register" tab. Once the demo license has expired the PRO features will stop working, however the rest of the application will continue to function as before.

7. How do I purchase PTHPasteboard 4 PRO?

You can purchase PTHPasteboard 4 PRO from within the System Preferences app. Simply click on the PTHPasteboard icon, go to the "Register" tab and click on the "Purchase..." button.

8. I've installed PTHPasteboard 4 under 10.3, why doesn't it work?

PTHPasteboard 4 only works on Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Please try running an older version. To Uninstall PTHPasteboard 4 on Mac OS X 10.3, launch System Preferences and then right/control click on the PTHPasteboard icon and select "Remove PTHPasteboard Preference Pane".

9. I've updated my MAAD version and my PRO features no longer work?
