Hot Key Tab
The Hot Key tab allows you to create, delete and manage global Hot Keys that trigger Actions within PTHPasteboard. Hot Keys work within any Mac OS X application and allow you to have one key access to most of PTHPasteboard's features.
-
Shortcut
Click on the "Set..." button to choose the Hot Key that will activate the Action. A sheet will display at which point you can type a key combination and hit the "OK" button.
-
Action
The action popup gives you the choice of pasting a buffer or showing the pasteboard window. Select "Paste Buffer" to cause the Hot Key to paste a buffer. Select "Show Window" to show the Main or a Custom Pasteboard Window. Select "Show Small Menu", "Show Medium Menu" or "Show Large Menu" to show a menu representation of the Pasteboard.
-
Pasteboard
Use this to select which Pasteboard Window will be affected by the Action.
-
Buffer Number (only available for "Paste Buffer" Action)
This field controls which buffer item to paste in this action. The very first buffer is 0 and the numbers increase by one from there.
-
Filter (only available for "Paste Buffer" Action and PTHPasteboard PRO)
This pop up allows you to choose a filter to paste the item through. Select "None" to paste the item without going through any filters. Select "Show Filter Menu" to show the filter menu for the item. Select "Show Custom Filter Window" to show the custom filter window for this item. Select any other option to paste the item through that Filter.
Tip:
The "Show Window" action will hide the Pasteboard Window if it is already being shown.
