General Tab
The General Tab is where you control the settings of PTHVolume.
Launch Options
You can easily start/stop PTHVolume from this section.

Start PTHVolume
Use this button to Start PTHVolume.

Stop PTHVolume
Use this button to Stop PTHVolume.

Start at Login
Checking this checkbox will cause PTHVolume to automatically launch everytime you log in to your Mac OS X machine. If this checkbox isn't checked PTHVolume must be launched manually at login time.
Appearance
This section controls the basic appearance of the PTHVolume application.

Vertical Controls
When this checkbox is checked the controls in the PTHVolume window will be shown vertically instead of horizontally.
Hot Keys
You can control use this section to set Hot Keys for controlling volume.

Display in Menu
When this checkbox is checked the currently selected audio device will appear in the PTHVolume window.

Volume Up
Use this to set a key that can be pressed to increase the volume of the selected audio device.

Volume Down
Use this to set a key that can be pressed to decrease the volume of the selected audio device.

Mute
Use this to set a key that can be pressed to toggle mute on the selected audio device.

Make Default
Use this to set a key that can be make the currently selected audio device the system's default output device.
Tip:
The "Default Output Device" option is useful for setting Hot Keys that will control the current system's default output device.
Tip:
The "Default Input Device" option is useful for setting Hot Keys that will control the current system's default input device.
Update
This section allows you to enable or disable PTHVolume's automatic version upgrade checking.

Automatically check for updates
When checked PTHVolume will periodically query for new releases of PTHVolume. Please go to the Privacy Page for more info on what information is sent to PTH Consulting when this feature is enabled.
